Your new role
We are hiring a talented sales manager to manage, develop and increase sales and profit contribution among existing and new customers within Southern Ireland. Ensuring all sales and margin targets and budgets are met in line with guidance from the RSM / MD. You may also be required to undertake other duties which are deemed to be within the business needs.

Job Description
  • To contact and liaise with suppliers to ensure product knowledge is maintained and reviewed. Internal departments to ensure the free flow of customer, market and product information.
  • Establish and maintain accurate customer records, product profiles, promotional calendars, customer database and pricing files.
  • Devise and constantly review clear journey plans and customer categorisation.
  • Plan and execute sales opportunities within new market sectors and strategise sales penetration opportunities.
  • Actively engage in the annual planning and budgeting process, ensuring accurate and achievable customer plans are devised and executed.
  • To act as a Sales ambassador, seeking to promote the Company’s services wherever and to whomever possible.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting KPIs and 'selling up'
  • A background in the baking/ food industry would be advantageous.
  • Valid Irish driving Licence
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record.
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint proficient)
  • Excellent team working abilities and networking skills
  • Ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Results orientated with a positive outlook.
What you'll get in return
This is an on the road role, covering Louth, Meath, Dublin, Wexford to Waterford. Candidates can be based in various locations and tailor their working day to suit themselves. On offer is a base salary of 45,000 + company car + 15 % bonus + expenses. You will be joining a growing organisation where career progression is offered to ambitious candidates!
