This company is a reputable organisation within the public sector based in Dublin.
Your new role
- Support the project manager in creating key project documentation, including budgets, schedules, scope statements, and project plans.
- Help allocate resources to ensure the project team has what they need to complete tasks effectively.
- Provide technical assistance, which may include training and documentation for systems or programs.
- Delegate tasks to team members and maintain clear communication to ensure everyone understands project milestones and deliverables.
- Serve as the point of contact between the project team and stakeholders throughout the project’s lifecycle.
- Schedule meetings with stakeholders, document outcomes, and prepare relevant reports.
- Participate in team meetings and document action items.
- Collect and organise data for project reports.
- Assist in coordinating various functional and project-related initiatives and activities.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in coordinating IT projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in IT systems, particularly MS Office and MS Project (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver training for staff on programs or systems.
- Experience in assessing IT system needs and providing effective solutions.
- Background in managing change and producing management information system (MIS) reports.
- A professional, diplomatic demeanour with a focus on building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Strong time management skills, capable of handling a heavy workload, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines.
- A proven track record of working collaboratively to meet project targets and deliver results.
- Ability to work effectively within a team to ensure smooth coordination across departments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A genuine interest in contributing to a positive work environment and working within a cultural or heritage-focused setting.
- A project management qualification (such as PRINCE2) is desirable.
What you'll get in return
- Onsite role, work from office with a little flexibility
- 50-55k per annum (depending on experience)
- Currently living in Ireland. (Ideally in the Dublin area)
- Currently holding an EEA passport or valid Stamp 4/1G visa. (If holding a visa, you must currently have a physical visa card and the visa must be valid for the duration of the contract).
- Immediate starter (if possible).
