Your new role
As a Retail Assistant, you will work within the National Museum of Ireland’s retail team, delivering excellent customer service within the museum shop and helping enhance the visitor experience.
- Provide excellent retail and customer service to all visitors.
- Increase turnover through strong product knowledge and proactive selling.
- Merchandise shop products in appealing and sales‑driven layouts.
- Use the EPOS system to process transactions.
- Handle stock processing, pricing, and general administrative duties.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally, 3 years’ experience in a similar retail role, including visual merchandising.
- Strong customer service experience and ability to communicate well with colleagues and visitors.
- Prior EPOS experience required.
- Knowledge of NMI collections or experience in cultural/tourism environments is desirable.
- Full Flexibility on days.
- Driving licence unless based locally
