Role Summary
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our branch team. As a Customer Engagement Consultant, you will be a visible presence on the banking hall floor, supporting customers with their needs, guiding them through digital services, and ensuring an exceptional branch experience.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Interaction & Support
- Welcome and engage customers to understand their needs.
- Guide customers to digital banking options such as the mobile app, internet banking, and kiosks.
- Redirect customers to Teller or Customer Service staff where appropriate.
Service Excellence
- Handle basic customer queries and complaints, escalating when required.
- Use iPads to update customer information and understand sales needs.
- Identify sales opportunities and pass them to relevant staff.
Cash Handling
- Process cash and cheque lodgements at the Teller counter when needed.
- Balance cash at the end of the day and monitor levels throughout operations.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong customer service experience with a proven ability to deliver exceptional service.
- Resilient, hardworking, and comfortable in a busy branch environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; strong team player.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies and support customers with digital channels.
