Architect / Technologist - Remote Working - Education Projects

Your new role
- Lead and deliver Irish educational projects through multiple design stages, ensuring all work meets relevant standards and project requirements.
- Manage school projects from early concept to detailed design, with strong understanding and application of Department of Education stage 1–2 reporting requirements.
- Chair and coordinate design team meetings, ensuring effective communication across architects, engineers, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Oversee day‑to‑day project management, including timelines, workflow planning, document control, and consultant coordination.
- Drive project progress independently, demonstrating initiative in resolving design issues, progressing documentation, and meeting deadlines.
- Ensure high quality technical output, including drawings, specifications, and coordinated design packages suitable for each project stage.
- Collaborate effectively in a remote working environment, maintaining proactive communication and reliable project delivery.
- Support compliance with Irish building regulations, educational design guidelines, and project-specific technical standards.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree in Architecture or Architectural Technology, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Eligibility for relevant professional membership (e.g., RIAI, CIAT) is an advantage but not essential.
- Proven experience delivering Irish educational projects, ideally across multiple design stages is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish building regulations, school design guidelines, and statutory processes.
- Proficient in softwares such as Revit, AutoCAD and BIM.
- Ability to produce coordinated, high-quality design and technical documentation.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to drive projects forward and meet deadlines.
- Experience managing day‑to‑day project delivery in a remote working setup.
- Proactive problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
