Project Manager and other site-based construction staff are required for large projects in Clare & Limerick.

Due to their continued development and expansion, they are seeking a Project Manager to strengthen and enhance their team. As a member of this team, you will have the opportunity to develop and bring added value to your career. They will also have other requirements coming up for a Site Engineer, Site Manager, Health & Safety Officer and Quantity Surveyor. Opportunities exist in Clare, Limerick and Galway,
Responsibilities of Project Manager:
- Establish performance and delivery criteria, ensuring that client requirements are met
- Ensure compliance with project specifications
- Ensure compliance with project procedures – safety / quality/ etc.
- Maintain project information (project controls)
- Track and report at weekly client update meetings
- Planning of resources including labour, materials and subcontractors
- To manage and drive a large team to meet all project requirements and deadlines
- Monitor procurement / safety / costs/ etc.
- Must be an excellent communicator and have previous experience working on high-quality medium-and large-scale public and private contracts in various sectors: – Residential/Pharma/Commercial/Education/Health.
- BIM experience an advantage
- Tender Submission experience an advantage
Requirements:
- You will be degree qualified in civil engineering / construction management. Trade background will also be considered.
- You will have 5+ years’ proven experience of working with a medium or large-sized main building contractor in a project manager role.
- You must be capable of taking responsibility for a large project, ensuring the delivery of the project within time, cost and budget.
- You will be reporting to a Contracts Manager or Director who will support you in your role.
- Programming and method statement writing experience would be beneficial.
