Job Opening – Payroll Co-ordinator-Cork-Hybrid

Job Title: Payroll Co-Ordinator
Location: Cork (Hybrid, 2days/week on-site)
Contract: 6 Months
Salary: €45,000 per annum

What You Will Be Doing
As a Payroll Co-Ordinator, you will play a key role in supporting payroll operations and ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting with the processing of fortnightly payroll
  • Processing employee expenses in line with company policies
  • Issuing payslips and expense remittance advice
  • Managing employee and manager queries related to time, absence, and expenses via internal systems
  • Supporting payroll specialists with day-to-day activities
  • Maintaining and updating payroll procedures and documentation
  • Validating starter and leaver information
  • Generating weekly time cards
  • Providing payroll-related documentation when required
  • Supporting employee onboarding processes
  • Identifying and escalating issues as they arise
Who We Are Looking For
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive professional with:
  • Minimum 3 years’ payroll processing experience
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, transactional or business services environment
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Good time management and attention to detail
  • Flexibility to adapt in a changing work environment
  • Experience with payroll systems (Oracle experience desirable)
