Your new role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the administration, auditing and accounting of multi‑country payroll processes.
Your responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring timely, accurate payroll processing in line with local country requirements
- Managing month‑end activities including journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations
- Leading assigned countries and owning all payroll requirements and deliverables
- Ensuring strong internal controls, reconciling monthly changes and explaining variances
- Scheduling, leading and participating in payroll-related meetings and presentations
- Providing accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing employee and payroll tax payments and ensuring local tax compliance
- Creating and maintaining process flows, procedures and control documentation
- Driving process improvements and identifying efficiency opportunities
- Managing the Payroll ESC ticketing system and ensuring timely resolution of queries
- Working with external providers on specialist payroll requirements (e.g., expatriates)
- Supporting internal and external audits to maintain payroll integrity
- Participating in payroll-related projects and continuous improvement initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Strong experience in payroll and accounting, ideally within a Shared Service or multi‑country environment
- Excellent working knowledge of SAP and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- A high level of accuracy, attention to detail and commitment to timely delivery
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build collaborative relationships
- A continuous improvement mindset with experience analysing and enhancing processes
- Effective communication, negotiation and problem‑solving skills
- The ability to work in a diverse, multicultural and fast‑moving environment
- Resilience, adaptability and the ability to handle complexity and ambiguity
- Fluency in English; additional languages (especially French) are an advantage
- An accounting qualification is preferred
