You will be joining a reputable construction company based in Cork, known for its strong commitment to quality and growth. The finance team is expanding to support the company’s ongoing success in the construction sector.

Your new role

• Process payroll accurately, including employee expenses.
• Prepare and submit PAYE returns and other required ROS filings.
• Reconcile wage and pension balance sheet control accounts.
• Use Excel proficiently to support payroll and finance tasks.
• Work collaboratively within the finance team to provide support as needed.

What you'll need to succeed

• Payroll Technician qualification or strong payroll experience (HR experience advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years’ payroll experience, particularly with Sage 50 and Sage Payroll software
• Proven ability to manage payroll processes including expenses and tax returns
• Strong Excel skills and analytical mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
