Your new role

As a Newly Qualified Accountant, you will play a key role across transactional finance, financial control, reporting and month‑end processes. Reporting to the Head of Finance – Ireland, you will provide essential support to both the finance function and wider business.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing transactional processing including AP invoice approvals, coding review and purchase ledger activity.
  • Posting and reconciling bank transactions and supporting business teams with purchase requisitions.
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register, supporting bi‑annual asset verification and ensuring accurate Capex and IFRS16 postings.
  • Managing expenditure tracking, disposal records and associated audit requirements.
  • Preparing payroll reconciliations and journal postings for all Irish entities.
  • Supporting accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and group reporting submissions.
  • Assisting with internal and external audit queries and contributing to continuous process improvement.
This is a broad, hands‑on role offering excellent exposure across the full finance cycle.


What you'll need to succeed

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA newly qualified or finalists may be considered.
  • Experience working in practice or industry
  • Ability to work autonomously as the Head of Finance for Ireland sits in the UK.
  • Confident working to tight deadlines and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to build relationships across various levels and locations.
