An independent medium-sized firm of Accountants based in West Cork. The practice provides a full range of accountancy, audit, and taxation services to a diverse portfolio of individual and corporate clients.

Your new role

• Responsible for a portfolio of clients and maintain and build client relationships
• Preparing Year End Accounts to Partner review stage
• Personal and corporate tax returns
• Monthly management accounts
• Managing the work of juniors and semi-seniors and responsibility for training new hires to the team
• Complete assignments, adhering to internal and external standards and deadlines
• Monitoring company accounts and conducting quarterly reviews
• Profit-and-loss statements
• Tax preparation
• Budgets and forecasting activities
• Preparing year-end files and dealing with queries

What you'll need to succeed

• Professional Accountancy qualified practice accountant with a minimum of 3 years' practice experience
• Strong audit and accounts preparation experience
• Ambition to drive career
• Desire to learn, improve and understand new methodologies
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A focus on developing a long-term career in Practice
