Your New Role
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Commissioning Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the commissioning process of mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring they are installed and functioning according to specifications and industry standards. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with project teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate commissioning activities for mechanical and electrical systems.
- Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Develop and implement commissioning plans, procedures, and schedules.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify system performance and compliance with design specifications.
- Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the commissioning process.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
- Prepare detailed commissioning reports and documentation.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and end-users.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
What You Need to Succeed
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Proficiency in using commissioning software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., LEED, PMP) are a plus.
