Lean Practitioner for Large Production Facility – Cork
Your new company
You will be joining a well established manufacturing organisation focused on driving operational excellence and continuous improvement. The business promotes a collaborative culture where Lean thinking, efficiency and quality are core priorities.
Your new role
As Lean Practitioner, you will play a key role in delivering continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operations.
You will lead Kaizen events, improvement workshops and Lean projects aimed at eliminating waste, streamlining processes and enhancing overall performance.
You will coach and train teams in Lean tools and problem‑solving techniques, support the implementation of visual management and KPI tracking, and partner closely with operations to ensure improvements are embedded and sustained.
A key aspect of the role is fostering a culture of continuous improvement at all levels of the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality or Operations Management—or relevant equivalent experience.
Strong manufacturing background with proven experience implementing Lean methodologies.
Lean Practitioner qualification (Black Belt preferred) or equivalent hands‑on experience.
Proficiency in Lean tools such as 6S, VSM, Kanban, PDCA, and related methodologies.
Strong facilitation, coaching, problem‑solving and communication skills.
Ability to influence teams and drive engagement in continuous improvement activities.
