Head of Manufacturing and Communications

Your new company

Our client is seeking a strategic and creatively driven Head of Marketing & Communications to lead the development, execution, and optimisation of our organisation’s brand, marketing, and business development activities. This senior role is pivotal in shaping how our brand is perceived internally and externally, strengthening market presence, and supporting long‑term business growth.

Your new role

  • Develop and deliver the company-wide marketing strategy and annual plans, ensuring alignment with senior leadership priorities.
  • Oversee the management, coaching and development of marketing team members, including recruitment and onboarding.
  • Champion the organisation’s brand identity—across employer branding, external reputation, and onsite visual standards.
  • Partner closely with internal departments to maximise opportunities for brand visibility and promotional impact.
  • Ensure all public-facing information is accurate, consistent, and supports our brand positioning.
  • Lead the creation, design and delivery of all marketing collateral including brochures, digital assets, business development materials, and website content.
  • Manage all advertising, PR, sponsorships and external communications, working collaboratively with senior leadership.
  • Maintain a structured database of project work to support marketing, business development and award submissions.
  • Oversee external marketing partners, agencies and consultants to ensure high-quality output and value for investment.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, exhibitions and conferences.
  • Conduct ongoing competitor analysis.
  • Present regular marketing insights, opportunities and campaign performance to senior management.
  • Manage all company photography — including planning, creative briefing and co‑ordination with project teams, clients and photographers.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strategic thinker with a strong background in marketing, brand management and communications.
  • Proven track record leading a multidisciplinary marketing function.
  • Excellent relationship‑builder with strong influencing skills.
  • Skilled communicator with an eye for detail, creative development and brand storytelling.
  • Comfortable operating in a dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
