Manufacturing Operative – Timber Frame Homes
Hays Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit motivated Manufacturing Operatives for a busy factory environment producing high-quality timber-frame homes. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Manual handling of timber and construction materials
- Assembly and preparation of timber frame components in a factory setting
- Operating tools and machinery safely and efficiently
- Following production schedules and quality standards
- Working as part of a team to meet deadlines
Requirements
- ✅ Manual Handling certification (essential)
- ✅ Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or similar environment preferred
- ✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced factory setting
- ✅ Own transport (public transport is not an option)
- ✅ Strong work ethic and reliability
