A Project Manager is required for retail and commercial fit-out projects.

Project Manager (retail fit-out)
Our client provides fit-out services to the retail and commercial sectors. They are experts at delivering full design, construction, maintenance, and end-of-life strip out to all types of commercial businesses.

To lead the Project Management team and manage the Construction Team, providing a quality product efficiently, safely and professionally within set budgets and agreed timescales, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction. A senior role that oversees construction activity in the UK and Ireland, ensuring projects are set up correctly, and are operating in a collective and efficient manner, following all the best practices, policies and procedures of the company. The role will require regular visits to all live projects, ensuring that they are proceeding as per project intent, and resolving issues on an ongoing basis. This is very much a ‘hands-on’ role.

Duties
• Responsible for overseeing multiple projects at the strategic level. Managing shared resources and finances, to make sure each project is progressing on time, and within budget.
• Oversee coordination with client & design team during the planning and design phase, to ensure that construction planning meets all stakeholder requirements.
• Developing budgets, and managing costs, to ensure that construction projects are completed within budget guidelines.
• Making sure that all construction projects meet health and safety codes, quality requirements, environmental regulations, and building regulations.
• Making strategic decisions, and providing leadership and direction to the project team, to implement those decisions.
• Implementing and defining procedures for enhanced performance.
• Ensuring personnel operate to company procedures.
• Meeting with clients, stakeholders and project team to report on project progress.
• Managing risks to avoid delays or reputational damage.
• Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships.
• Work cohesively with Senior Management, on day-to-day operations, while developing future pipeline and growth policies.

Requirements
• Solid communication skills, with the ability to be assertive, while being diplomatic.
• 10 + years of relevant post-qualification experience, with an appropriate management qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience in the execution of commercial/retail projects.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and stamp authority on projects.
• Strong IT skills.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• History of success within the industry

€Negotiable salary, relocation contribution, bonus scheme & pension will be offered.
