Performance Management Specialist | Cork City (Hybrid) | 12 Months

Your new role

  • Oversee the organisation’s Performance Management System (MyWork) and act as the primary support for managers and employees using the platform.
  • Report to the HR Data and Process Manager and collaborate closely with senior leaders across all functions.
  • Develop and deliver training, ensuring performance management processes are clearly communicated and consistently applied.
  • Manage system issues and enhancements, working with IT, resolver groups, and the software support team.
  • Produce performance insights and support management in embedding a strong, year‑round performance culture.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing existing processes and benchmarking against best practice.
  • Support the wider HR function in building coaching capability and delivering people‑focused strategic initiatives.

What you'll need to succeed

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring strong experience of managing or supporting performance management systems and processes, along with the confidence to troubleshoot issues and collaborate with resolver groups and IT teams. You’ll be comfortable benchmarking existing approaches against best practice and recommending improvements, while also communicating clearly through well‑crafted guidance and training materials. You will be skilled in engaging with senior stakeholders and partnering effectively with HR colleagues, and you’ll have the organisational and analytical strengths needed to produce performance reports and monitor compliance across the business. A proactive, collaborative mindset is essential, as is the flexibility to support broader people‑focused initiatives and contribute to strategic HR projects as required.
