The company is known for delivering large‑scale developments to exceptional standards, with a strong reputation for operational excellence, planning efficiency, and robust supply‑chain coordination.
The environment is fast‑paced, structured, and highly collaborative—where logistics, material flow, and site coordination are essential to the successful delivery of complex, multi‑disciplinary projects. You’ll be part of a team that values accountability, communication, and proactive problem‑solving.
Your new role
As the Logistics Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth, safe, and efficient movement of materials, plant, equipment, and personnel throughout a large construction site. You will be responsible for planning logistics activities, coordinating deliveries, maintaining compliance with site procedures, and supporting the overall workflow of the project.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing all daily site logistics activities, ensuring safe, efficient movement of materials and equipment.
- Coordinating incoming deliveries, verifying documentation, and managing booking schedules for plant, vehicles, and material loads.
- Managing site traffic routes, pedestrian access, laydown areas, and storage zones in accordance with site plans.
- Working closely with construction, engineering, and subcontractor teams to ensure materials are delivered to the right place, at the right time.
- Supervising site logistics personnel and ensuring adherence to safety standards and work instructions.
- Monitoring equipment utilisation, reporting shortages or delays, and escalating issues to site management where necessary.
- Maintaining accurate logs, records, and reports relating to deliveries, movements, waste management, and material handling.
- Supporting site safety through proactive housekeeping, compliance checks, and enforcement of traffic and material‑handling protocols.
What you’ll need to succeed
- Proven experience in logistics supervision within construction, industrial, manufacturing, or large‑scale project environments.
- Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders simultaneously.
- Knowledge of material‑handling processes, delivery scheduling, vehicle coordination, and site‑logistics planning.
- Ability to interpret site plans, traffic layouts, and delivery sequencing requirements.
- A strong commitment to safety, with experience enforcing safe‑working practices.
- Proficiency in basic IT systems used for scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
What you’ll get in return
- Opportunity to work on a major, high‑profile development project with a respected industry leader.
- A collaborative team culture that prioritises safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
- Strong career progression prospects within a rapidly growing sector.
- Competitive salary and benefits package.
- A dynamic, fast‑paced environment where your work makes a visible impact on overall project delivery.
