Hays is a global market leader spanning 33 countries, with an office in the centre of Dublin city. We are expanding our Accountancy & Finance recruitment team after a period of growth. This 360 recruitment position will allow you to forge relationships across the Leinster market and receive second-to-none training and development.
We are seeking an experienced recruitment consultant to join our well-established A&F Business and take on a warm desk.
Your new role
Working within the accountancy & finance market, this 360 recruitment role allows you to build your own business. You will join a warm desk with existing clients and build on the success of your desk. You will be tasked with duties such as
- Business development : liaising with existing and new clients
- Identifying new client and business opportunities
- Candidate attraction and management, including a high level of interaction with existing candidate networks and registering new candidates
- Conducting interviews to assess candidate suitability
- Conducting client meetings both online and in person
- Marketing & advertising : proactively targeting new candidates and client opportunities through strategic marketing
- Market analysis : Acting as an expert in your field, conducting market analysis and identifying trends and opportunities to maximise your desk growth
- High level of collaboration with the wider A&F team and other specialist teams within Hays
- Admin & Compliance : As a market leader, we pride ourselves on the level of compliance we adhere to, giving our customers peace of mind when working with Hays. You will champion our compliance process. Other admin tasks include the use of Excel, Word, Reporting systems and more.
What you'll need to succeed

Within the A&F business, each consultant is focused on a specific part of the market, creating experts in that area who can ensure they are able to educate and advise all customers, and work quickly to meet customer demands.
What we are looking for :
- You will ideally have gained 1–3 years' experience within agency recruitment and have an understanding of the corporate recruitment market.
- You will have a growth mindset, with the ability to self-motivate and work proactively to grow your market.
- You will enjoy working in a multi-faceted and fast-paced environment and thrive as a team player.
- The office is based in the heart of Dublin city and requires an in-office presence on a hybrid working model.
- You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What you'll get in return
You will be offered a competitive commission and salary package, commission is uncapped and paid monthly alongside payroll. Pay dates are every 4 weeks, equating to 13 payments per year.
