Employee Relations Consultant – 12 month FTC - Dublin City

Your new role

As an Employee Relations Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the business across a wide range of employee relations matters. You will partner closely with managers, HR colleagues, and employees, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure consistent application of policies and compliance with employment legislation.
You will manage complex ER cases including performance management, disciplinary processes, grievances, TUPE, absence management, and terminations. You will also support occupational health referrals, capability reviews, and accommodations where required.

In addition, you will:
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on ER best practice
  • Handle escalated and complex cases while supporting more senior stakeholders where needed
  • Conduct investigations, gather insights, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Deliver training sessions and contribute to policy development and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support reporting, case tracking, and analytics for leadership teams
  • Assist with audits, process reviews, and compliance requirements

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience in an Employee Relations role
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law
  • CIPD qualification
  • Experience handling complex ER cases independently
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience in a large, matrixed or international organisation
  • Familiarity with HR systems and reporting tools
