Your new company
Your new company is a leading financial services provider in Ireland, supporting automotive brands with innovative finance, leasing, and servicing solutions. This organisation is looking for you to join them on a permanent basis as a Training Development Manager, at their offices in Dublin 22 on a hybrid basis.
Your new role
To design, implement and manage a comprehensive training and development strategy for the motor finance network, ensuring that all members and their staff achieve and maintain the knowledge, skills, and competencies required for compliant, customer-centric operations. This includes ownership of the network’s programme, regulatory training, product knowledge, and professional development pathways.
Your responsibilities
- Develop and implement a network-wide training and development framework aligned with business objectives, CPC regulations, and industry best practices.
- Conduct training needs analysis across dealer partners and internal teams.
- Design and deliver blended learning programmes (e-learning, classroom, workshops, webinars, coaching) covering:
CPC compliance & regulation
Motor finance product knowledge
Sales and customer experience training
Leadership and business development skills - Evaluate the effectiveness of training through feedback, performance metrics, and audit results.
- Lead the creation and management of a structured CPD programme for the network.
- Ensure all network members and employees meet annual CPD hour requirements.
- Develop CPD resources including online modules, technical bulletins, learning events, and assessments.
- Maintain accurate CPD records and reporting for FCA and network compliance audits.
- Manage the network’s financial accreditation programme and renewals
- Engage with dealer principals and directors to drive participation in development initiatives.
- Act as a subject-matter expert at network events, conferences, and regional meetings.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and digital learning resources.
- Produce monthly MI and KPIs on training delivery, CPD completion, and competence status.
- Provide detailed reports to the board and compliance committee.
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree or higher in a Business or Finance related discipline required.
- QFA/ APA Loans & Regulations and CIP 01 and CIP 04 qualifications are a mandatory requirement.
- This is an MCC impacted role and the minimum competency required is APA or QFA and CIP.
- Proven experience in training and development within financial services or motor finance
- Strong understanding of CPC regulations and requirements
- Experience designing and delivering blended learning programmes.
