Your new role
This key business partnering role provides analysis and insights for sales directors and business development managers, along with commercial and strategic support to the wider business. It plays a significant part in budgeting, planning, and forecasting for the company. The role is both structured and varied, adapting to the changing needs of the business.
- Provides relevant and insightful information and analysis to key stakeholders regarding all KPIs.
- Enhances business performance through detailed analysis and provision of insightful information on both BAU and strategic initiatives.
- Actively contributes to the finance team's understanding of recent business performance from both sales and margin perspectives.
- Coordinates the development of strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts for assigned business areas, ensuring alignment with business strategy.
- Delivers supporting analysis for forecasts and budgets for assigned areas throughout the year.
- Collaborates closely with the Daybreak sales development team to drive profitability in every store.
- Works with the wider Finance team to ensure alignment with finance objectives, budgets, and targets.
- Builds and maintains cross-functional relationships with other support functions, providing assistance on new and improved ways to drive improvement and profit for the MWP business.
What you'll need to succeed
Our client is seeking a friendly, open, and efficient individual who excels at building relationships and collaborating across different business areas. The ideal candidate will be fully qualified, with strong skills in data sharing and report generation, focusing on process improvement and transitioning reports to Power BI. Preferably, the successful candidate will have practice training and a few years' industry experience, with a solid background in reporting and process improvement. This role is not centred around month-end tasks but is heavily focused on reporting, so comfort with this aspect is essential. Additionally, financial analysis and interpretation experience, supported by strong Excel skills, is highly desirable. As the Analysis and Financial Planning Accountant, you will play a key role in building relationships and working effectively with various parts of the business.

- €70,000 - €75,000 depending on your experience
- Bonus: 10% annual (25% performance-related, 75% company performance).
- Pension: Double employer contribution (Musgrave contributes 12% max).
