Practice Accountant, Dublin, €60k+ DOE

Your new company

A long‑established and reputable accountancy practice is seeking a Practice Accountant to join their team. The firm offers a broad and varied client base across multiple sectors, including audit, non‑audit and sole trader clients, and has been delivering high-quality accountancy services for over 30 years.


Your new role

As a new Practice Accountant, you will work across a diverse portfolio of clients. Actively engaging with and managing these relationships to ensure the accounts are prepared within the allotted timeframe.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients across multiple sectors
  • Take ownership of your client relationships, acting as the main point of contact within the firm
  • Proactively engaging with clients to ensure monthly and annual accounts are prepared within given timeframes.
  • Attending client meetings where you will act as lead
  • You will prepare and review management accounts, financial statements, and year-end accounts.
  • Ensure each client's accounts meet compliance with accounting standards and associated regulatory requirements
  • You will be a collaborative, team player comfortable working in a busy, dynamic working environment.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in general accounting practice in the Irish market
  • ACA / ACCA / CPA Qualified or similar
  • Strong technical knowledge of Accounting Standards and Regulatory Requirements
  • Have strong experience supervising assignments and managing client relationships
  • Some tax experience is desirable
  • High levels of accuracy, critical thinking and attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Ability to work efficiently, meet deadlines and remain resilient under pressure
  • Professional integrity and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
