Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and dynamic organisation based in Coachford, Co. Cork. The company is newly established and offers a supportive, fast-paced environment where adaptability and a willingness to learn are highly valued. You will be working closely with the CEO, playing a key role in the day-to-day operations of the business. This is a part-time position, working 22.5 hours per week from Monday to Thursday, with standard office hours from 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Your new role
As the Office Administrator, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative and operational tasks. Your role will include managing office supplies and inventory, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and ensuring the office remains clean, organised, and safe. You will assist in preparing for client and customer meetings and support the CEO with various daily tasks.
You will maintain accurate records such as invoices and employee files, and enter data into company systems or spreadsheets. Basic financial tasks will also form part of your role, including assisting with invoicing, tracking expenses, and preparing timesheets. You will handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, prepare reports and documents, and manage both physical and digital filing systems. Scheduling meetings and appointments will also be part of your responsibility.
In addition, you will support human resources functions by assisting with onboarding new employees, maintaining attendance records, and helping to coordinate interviews and training sessions. You will also be expected to take on other ad hoc duties as required to support the smooth running of the office.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you should have strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, as is proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word. You should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and capable of solving problems independently. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn will be key to thriving in this role.
