Seafreight Operator | Dublin North | Permanent | €35,000 – €50,000 DOE |

Your new company

As Seafreight Operator, you will join a family run business who provide multi-modal transport, storage and distribution service globally. Your new office is conveniently located in Dublin North. They require you to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your new role

As Seafreight Operator, you will provide a professional and efficient seafreight operations service to both internal and external customers.
Your duties will include but are not limited to processing shipment bookings, monitoring shipments from point of customer booking to arrival at destination and customer payment, providing a high level of Customer Service to both internal and external customers, liaising with local and international vendors and agents to ensure that the best rates and services are secured, liaising with transport vendors regarding collections or deliveries, processing sales and purchases invoices and dealing with any queries relating to customer/creditor invoices, dealing with rate requests and issuing quotations, customs Clearance awareness – SAD’s, requirements etc., development of sea freight services and all general administrative duties that fall into your new role.

What you'll need to succeed

You will ideally have recent relevant seafrieght operations experience. Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are essential as you will be communicating with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in using MS Suite is essential. A keen for detail and strong administrative skills are required.

With clear and relevant examples of your career achievements within a similar role, you will be a very strong candidate for this role.
