Your new role
The purpose of this role is to provide a professional, friendly and engaged service to our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and engaging with customers on the banking hall floor – enquiring as to their needs
- Guiding customers to the appropriate self-service options – mobile app, internet banking and kiosks. Directing to Teller/Customer Service if required, handling basic queries and complaints – directing to senior staff as required
- Engaging with customers using iPads, updating customer information and sales needs, identifying sales opportunities, handing over to suitable staff as required
- Cash handling – processing and managing cash and cheque lodgements at Teller as required. Responsible for balancing cash at the end of the day and managing levels throughout the day
- Customer Service experience, high standard of service and demonstrated awareness of the importance of the same.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills – ability to work as part of a team in a busy branch.
