Our Client is a long-established building contractor with projects across the Connacht and north-west region. They are involved in various building projects such as commercial, schools, refurbishment, residential, pharmaceutical & medical devices. They are now seeking to recruit a Senior Site Engineer / Site Engineer for projects in the Sligo, Donegal and Mayo regions. You will need a minimum of at least 3 years’ experience working with a large main contractor. Degree qualification and experience working on large contracts would be an advantage. You must be capable of managing works on a large site, completing the paperwork, setting out and reporting to the Site / Project Manager.

The ideal candidate will have:

A Degree in Civil Engineering

Worked as a Senior Engineer / Site Engineer within the last 12 months

Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Site or Senior Engineer with a Main Contractor on large building projects

The ability to do the setting out as required

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Project, PowerPoint etc.

Consistent employment history with large main contractors, with strong references

Highly organised and motivated
