Hays has partnered with a fantastic company based in Shannon who, due to growth, are seeking an AVP, Human Resources. This company is a leading player in engine leasing & financing in the aviation industry. This is a full-time permanent position.
Your new role
As the AVP, HR you will be responsible for supporting the VP HR with the implementation of new projects and strategic planning. You will provide support to the current HR team on various issues including recruitment, employee relations, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee engagement and training. You will advise on areas such as diversity, equity & inclusion, process improvement and talent development. You will conduct analysis of emerging HR developments and provide guidance and management support on global HR policies and processes to employees and managers. You will assist in budgeting/forecasting processes and preparation of compensation summaries as well as various other duties as required.
What you'll need to succeed
As the successful candidate you will hold a bachelor’s degree in business, HR or have a recognised HR qualification. You will have at least 5 years’ experience in a Generalist or Business Partner role. You will have multinational experience supporting a global company with extensive knowledge of Employment Law. You will have experience managing aspects of HR. You will be an excellent communicator with experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels within an organisation.
