HR Generalist | Dublin City | Logistics Company

Your new company

An excellent opportunity has now arisen for an experienced HR Generalist to join an international logistics company. This is initially a 12-month fixed term contract.
If you have experience providing HR advice and support to managers and you are passionate about driving organisational success through HR initiatives then this could be the role for you.

Your new role

In this role you will work closely with operational leaders to understand their challenges and priorities and provide advice and guidance in line with HR policies and procedures to support them. You will provide expert advice on employee relations, change management and performance management, building strong working relationships with Trade Unions and employee representatives.
You will support effective workforce planning using data and insights to support decision-making, proactively helping managers to manage sickness absence, ill health capability issues and promoting health and wellbeing within their teams. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to wider HR strategies and projects.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience in providing HR advice, ideally in a large scale industrial/manufacturing environment, and be able to operate autonomously and prioritise effectively. You will have supported with initiating and facilitating change and business improvement activities. You will have experience using HR Information Systems, including accessing, inputting and compiling data and insights.
You will have up-to-date knowledge of current legislation, exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage and influence a diverse employee group, with experience in communicating with varied stakeholders, including Unions and/or employee representatives.
