Your new company
As HR BP, you will join a charitable organisation who fight against social inequality and transforming lives. Your new office is located in Dublin City; however, you will be required to visit their Belfast office 1 day a week. Your new company requires you to join on a permanent basis and offers hybrid working.
Your new role
As HRBP, you will report into the Senior HR Business Partner. Your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Managing successful internal and external relationships, to implement HR strategy, people management practices and develop capabilities in line with company values.
- Represent HR at Operational Board level for ROI & NI, leading on all key business decisions and strategies with people implications.
- Collaborate with HR colleagues across the UK, embedding and translating territory-wide HR Policy and HR transformation programmes locally.
- Take a proactive approach in the development and delivery of the HR Strategy/Valuing People Framework, taking the lead on working groups and subject areas.
- Working with the Senior HR Business Partner and HRBP colleagues to lead and develop the HR Delivery team. Locally being responsible for leading a small team to deliver an end-to-end HR service within Ireland.
- Ensure adherence to all audit and compliance responsibilities
- Use data to drive discussions, ensure decision-making is informed and develop HR systems and ways of working.
- Provide strong employee relations support, working effectively with trade unions, and ensure adherence to employment law and best practice
- Develop local people management performance and capabilities, encouraging a culture of clear accountability, high engagement and performance in line with values.
- Undertake any other duties as required for the effective running of the Department and the organisation.
What you'll need to succeed
To become HRBP, you will be qualified to level 7 or above and CIPD qualified (membership is required). You will have extensive experience of working successfully in a similar role within a large and complex organisation with strong subject matter expertise in HR matters and employment law, with the proven ability to apply that knowledge effectively within the workplace, with the drive to keep updated with all relevant statutory and best practice developments. Proven strong experience of successfully managing employees to deliver objectives, developing and training staff and actioning performance management processes where required is necessary.
Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are essential as you will be communicating with a diverse range of individuals and stakeholders. A keen eye for detail and multitasking is essential to meet tight deadlines. Excellent strategic, analytical and project management skills are required. Experience working in the Not-for-Profit sector and/or social/community areas of work is desirable.
