Your new company

Our client is a leading organisation in hospitality in East Cork. This is an exciting opportunity for a HR Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis.

Your new role

In this role you will be responsible for all aspects of the HR function, with a focus on employee brand and culture strategy, learning and development, engagement, retention, and compliance. The successful candidate will be a strategic manager, critical thinker, problem solver, tactful, empathetic, and collaborative. They will provide direction for HR and oversee the development and delivery of the people strategy. They will work collaboratively with department managers and their teams and encourage an organisational culture that supports effective behaviours and ways of working that demonstrate clear commitment to company values, mission, and vision. The HR Manager will lead and support the senior management on the organisational employee brand, culture, learning strategy development, and employee retention strategy.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have at least 2–4 years working experience in Human Resources.
You will have a minimum of 2 years of team management experience, the ability to encourage engagement, address performance issues, and support development. You will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and have the ability to modify your communication approach according to the situation.
To succeed in this role you will need experience working and adapting in a fast-paced environment. Hospitality, retail or medical industry experience is desirable.
Finally, the candidate must possess drive and commitment to 5 core values and attributes, which include commitment to the role, flexibility, resilience, internal customer service, and integrity.
