Your new role
As HR Generalist, you will provide comprehensive HR support across a broad range of functions. You will act as a key point of contact for managers and employees, ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with public sector guidelines.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management
- Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes
- Providing guidance on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practice
- Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting reporting requirements
- Contributing to learning & development initiatives
- Supporting organisational change and HR projects as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience in a HR Generalist or HR Advisor role
- Experience within a public sector body/Not for Profit/Charity (Required**)
- A relevant third-level qualification in HRM (Required**)
- CIPD membership (Required**)
- Experience working in a unionised environment & dealing with WRC
- Strong Employee Relations experience
- Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
