HR Generalist - Dublin City – Up to €60k

You will be joining a well-established public sector organisation committed to delivering high-quality services to the community. As part of a collaborative HR team, you will contribute to a positive workplace culture and help drive people-focused initiatives across the organisation.

Your new role
As HR Generalist, you will provide comprehensive HR support across a broad range of functions. You will act as a key point of contact for managers and employees, ensuring HR policies and procedures are applied consistently and in line with public sector guidelines.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, and absence management
  • Assisting with recruitment and onboarding processes
  • Providing guidance on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practice
  • Maintaining accurate HR records and supporting reporting requirements
  • Contributing to learning & development initiatives
  • Supporting organisational change and HR projects as required


What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in a HR Generalist or HR Advisor role
  • Experience within a public sector body/Not for Profit/Charity (Required**)
  • A relevant third-level qualification in HRM (Required**)
  • CIPD membership (Required**)
  • Experience working in a unionised environment & dealing with WRC
  • Strong Employee Relations experience
  • Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
