Finishing / Trades Foreman - North Dublin – Hourly Paid Housing

Your new role

Your new role will initially be paid on an hourly rate – (for up to 12 weeks – it is a probation period that is paid by the hour.) It will then turn into a salaried role if all parties are content. It gives you the opportunity to look at the developer before committing longer term – it works well. These are typically housing/duplexes and apartments.

There are requirements for several experienced finishing foremen across numerous North Dublin developments. This role is critical in ensuring all finishing works are completed to the highest standards, on time, and in line with the developers' quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all finishing trades on site (carpentry, painting, snagging, etc.)
  • Ensure high-quality finishes in line with project specifications and company standards
  • Coordinate subcontractors and ensure work is delivered on schedule
  • Manage snag lists and ensure timely completion of all outstanding work
  • Conduct quality inspections and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Liaise closely with Site Manager, Project Manager, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and in compliance with company policies
  • Support the handover process to clients and ensure a positive customer experience


What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman or in a similar supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of finishing trades and quality control processes
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Strong eye for detail
  • Experience working on residential projects, ideally fast-paced low density housing.
