Finance business partner opportunity within a growing media company in Dublin - €75,000


Your New Company

This media and events company has been growing from strength to strength over the past years. They are seeking to hire an experienced Finance Business Partner to join the well-established finance function. This team operates at a high level and supports the growth and development of the business as a whole. The office is centrally located in South Dublin and easily accessible from multiple transport routes.

Your New Role

This role is focused on business partnering with key stakeholders across the company and has ample scope for growth and development over the coming years.
This is a commercially focused role acting as a strategic partner to the board and senior leadership team.

Duties include but are not limited to :
  • Leading monthly budget, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling
  • Supporting and advising budget holders to aid decision-making and ensure financial compliance
  • Providing costings for bids and tenders and supporting policies, controls and audit related activity
  • Managing the development and improvement of dashboards (PowerBI), reporting tools and financial processes
  • Preparing clear, accurate monthly management accounts with commentary
  • Business partnering with key stakeholders within the business

What you need to succeed


This role calls for a commercially focused, strategic professional with proven experience working in a similar business partnering role.

Requirements
  • Qualified accountant 2-4 Years PQE as a minimum
  • Previous experience working within a strategically focused role
  • Ability to work well on your own initiative and take the lead on reporting, forecasting and budget preparation
  • Previous experience with financial modelling
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong PowerBI exposure with experience building your own dashboards.
