6-month contract Project/Systems Accountant role for a Qualified Accountant, offering an immediate start
Leading Irish organisation with a national remit require an experienced Systems Accountant to join their finance team at an exciting time of growth and development
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract to support the organisation with a systems integration project. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be focused on this merger project
Key Tasks will include:
- Support the Finance team with this integration project
- Support the team with the design and implementation of strong financial controls
- Identify and test system enhancements to improve performance
- Support the accounting team with mapping the new structure
- Liaise with IT, Finance, and other stakeholders to align the financial systems with business goals
- Support the development of detailed financial reports
- Provide support to non-finance users too, and ensure sufficient supporting documentation is created
Ideally, you will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with 3 years + project accounting and ERP systems implementation / merger experience, having previously worked with SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will have a strong understanding of financial reporting, controls, and compliance and possess excellent Excel and data analysis skills along with good problem-solving and project management skills
Annual Salary €62K-€70K (depending on experience)
