Facilities Manager – South Dublin - €50K - €55K (DOE)

Your New Company
The Facilities Manager is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and overall effectiveness of our client’s workplace environment. This role plays a key part in delivering safe, well-managed, and professional facilities for employees, athletes, and visitors.

What You Will Need to Succeed
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Health & Safety regulations
  • Proven ability to manage facilities efficiently
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Proactive, positive, and self-motivated approach
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organisational and multitasking ability
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Flexibility for occasional out-of-hours work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)

Desirable
  • Qualification in Facilities Management or Health & Safety
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid, Fire Safety, Manual Handling)
  • Experience in a fast-paced or sports-related environment


Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for all facilities-related queries
  • Ensure buildings are safe, clean, and fully operational
  • Coordinate routine and reactive maintenance with contractors
  • Conduct regular site inspections and address issues
  • Monitor systems such as security, lighting, and HVAC
  • Support health and safety compliance, audits, and procedures
  • Assist with risk assessments, emergency planning, and incident response
  • Assist with management of company fleet and insurance
  • Liaise with external service providers and support driver.
  • Support office space planning and workspace organisation
  • Manage office supplies and equipment levels
  • Coordinate meeting rooms, basic event setup, and IT requirements
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements
  • Contribute to sustainability initiatives and efficiencies
