Executive Assistant | National Museum of Ireland | 6 Months | €37919 | Dublin City/Hybrid
Your new company
As Executive Assistant, you will join a reputable cultural institute known as Ireland's leading museum institution, with a strong emphasis on national and some international archaeology, Irish history, Irish art, culture, and natural history. Your new position is a full-time administrative post in their Irish Antiquities Division. Your new office is located in Dublin City (Kildare Street) and is accessible via public transport. Your new company requires you to join their team on a 6-month assignment. You will have a hybrid work model after your training period.
Your new role
- Monitoring and actioning email correspondence to the division, docketing of assigned Office mailboxes
- Maintaining correspondence files – printing, photocopying and filing
- Key liaison to the Keeper of Irish Antiquities (or their deputy as required) in relation to meetings; scheduling/co-ordinating meetings, booking rooms, circulating agendas and minute-taking.
- Arranging work travel
- Working with IAD clerical staff to support and manage IAD business
- Ordering couriers and managing incoming and outgoing post
- Welcoming VIP visitors and showing them to meetings, ensuring that the meeting room is clean and tidy and conferencing equipment is ready for meeting attendees.
- Assisting with the coordination of events, travel and general administration.
- Scanning, photocopying and printing
- File and data management
- Other duties as and when required
