We’re looking for a technical engineering leader to establish and grow a high-impact engineering function from the ground up. In this role, you’ll report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and collaborate closely with global engineering and sales engineering teams.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the technical direction of a fast-moving, established company, who are building a world-class team, and delivering products that make a meaningful difference.

They are currently USA based and not looking to set up their EMEA Software Engineering hub. This company is valued at well over a billion dollars and excellent ARR.

  Skills Required:

• Strong technical background, ideally with experience in infrastructure software and distributed systems at scale

• Excellent communication skills — able to translate complex technical concepts for non-engineering audiences

• Proven ability to recruit, lead, and grow high-performing engineering teams

• Detail-oriented leadership with the ability to act as both product owner and technical program manager
  
  Responsibilities:

• Build and lead an engineering team that scales to 12–30 people over the next 18–24 months, including multiple technical leads.

• Drive delivery of technical innovations and ensure product excellence

• Communicate roadmap, schedules, and strategic direction across teams and with customers
