Hays Recruitment is looking for a QC Electrician to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding renewable energy company committed to driving positive change in the industry. As they continue to grow, they are seeking a skilled QC Electrician to join their team. Role Overview:
As a QC Electrician, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of their renewable energy projects. You’ll work closely with the installation teams, inspecting electrical systems, identifying any issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will be essential in maintaining their high standards.

Responsibilities:
  • ·Conduct quality control inspections on solar PV installations
  • ·Verify compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • ·Inspect electrical components, wiring, and connections to identify defects or potential issues.
  • ·Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to address any quality-related concerns.
  • ·Document findings and maintain accurate records.
  • ·Participate in safety meetings and adhere to all safety protocols.
  • ·Provide technical expertise and guidance to installation teams.
  • ·Perform troubleshooting and resolve electrical issues as needed.
Requirements:
To excel in this role, you’ll need the following qualifications and skills:
  • ·QC Number:
    Possess a valid QC Number (Quality Control Number) relevant to electrical work.
  • ·SEAI Registration:
    Be registered with the Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI)
  • ·Full Driving Licence:
    A valid driving licence is essential for site visits and travel between project locations.
  • ·Electrical Expertise:
    Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and safety practices.
  • ·Attention to Detail:
    Keen eye for identifying defects and ensuring compliance.
  • ·Problem-Solving Skills:
    Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • ·Team Player:
    Collaborate effectively with colleagues and contractors.
  • ·Growth Mindset:
    Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
