Your new company
As PR & Marketing Manager, you will join an organisation that provides networking and IT services to the education and research sectors in Ireland. Your new office is located conveniently in Dublin City Centre and is easily accessible via public transport. Your new company requires you to join their team on a 12-month basis to cover a maternity leave. You will have a hybrid work model with the option to work from home up to 3 days per week.
Your new role
As PR & Marketing Manager, you will report to the Client Services Director. Your duties will include, but are not limited to, providing leadership and mentoring to your team to ensure that corporate publications, digital channels, client-facing events, PR initiatives, brand initiatives, new services launches, and external communications plans and activities are implemented efficiently and effectively. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the implementation of the annual marketing plan, developing and maintaining the public image of your new company, managing external agencies and budgetary responsibilities.
What you'll need to succeed
To become PR & Marketing Manager, you will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with line management and leadership duties. The ability to demonstrate marketing and brand management experience (including branding/rebranding of initiatives/services/products) is necessary. You will need to demonstrate strong team management, project management and organisation skills with an ability to prioritise effectively in a busy and dynamic environment. Strong communication and influencing skills are required.
Previous experience working within the education or ICT sector and/or event/conference management and/or brand development experience is desirable.
With clear and relevant examples of your career achievements within a similar role, you will be a very strong candidate for this role.
