Experienced Credit Controller required for a property company – 40-45K - Permanent role - North county Dublin

Your new company

A leading property management organisation is seeking a Credit Controller to join its finance team. This is a full-time, permanent role based in North Dublin, offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic and client-focused environment. Based in Dublin 17, those applying must be in a position to travel to the office via car or public transport.

Your new role

As a Credit controller you will be responsible for managing end to end billing, invoicing and collections across a designated portfolio. Your key duties will include:
•Regular contact with residential and commercial tenants
•Updating debtor comments and payment plans in Smart Sheets
•Preparing accounts for legal action and debt recovery
•Responding to client and property manager queries
•Preparing monthly debtor reports and collection statistics
•Liaising with on-site managers for MUD reply queries
•Posting incoming bank payments and allocating cash
•Assisting with monthly bank reconciliations
•Setting up accounts for new owners
•Supporting annual invoicing and billing of water consumption
•General account and system administration


This role is responsible for a substantial ledger of debtors, with over 600 debtors currently being billed each month.


What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in a similar credit control role
  • Proven experience in consumer debt collection and high-volume collections
  • Strong skills in invoice processing and account reconciliation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Property sector experience is an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • EEA passport or relevant work visa required
