Your new role
You will be responsible for all aspects of the budget, managing projects with a good deal of Business Partnering. Liaising with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate allocation, spending and control of the budget. As Finance Officer, you will provide regular reporting and projection analysis to advise Senior Management on financial issues and inform future financial planning. You will build and develop relationships with key finance function stakeholders both within the business and externally.
Sample of duties include:
- Responsible for management accounts.
- Manage the budget of the organisation.
- Manage the spending on projects.
- Provide and review the monthly analysis of spend versus budget for projects.
- Liaise closely with Senior Management to review budget performance, oversee and manage financial authorisation and controls on expenditure.
- Provide advice on financial matters and highlight any finance-related issues to the Executive Management Team.
What you'll need to succeed
You must be a qualified accountant, ACA, Chartered, CPA, CIMA.
A strong attention to detail is necessary together with the ability to communicate with senior stakeholders. Ideally, you will have exposure to large complex organisational structures.
