Your new role
As a Construction Planner, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of building projects across Dublin and the wider Leinster region. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and monitoring project programmes from pre‑construction through to handover. Working closely with the project management team, site teams, commercial staff, and external stakeholders, you will provide accurate planning information that drives decision‑making and ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will prepare tender programmes, update live project schedules, identify potential delays, and propose mitigation strategies. This role offers the opportunity to influence major construction projects while working with a collaborative and forward‑thinking contractor.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Planner within the construction industry, ideally with a main contractor.
- Strong understanding of general building, including commercial, residential, or mixed‑use project environments.
- Proficiency in planning software such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
- Construction‑related qualification (engineering, construction management, or similar) is highly desirable.
