CSA Engineer – Dublin Based Construction Project
Your New Company
You will be joining a global engineering and construction specialist operating at the forefront of mission‑critical infrastructure delivery. This organisation is recognised for delivering large‑scale, technically complex data centre projects for some of the world’s most demanding end clients. With operations spanning multiple continents, the business combines deep engineering expertise with hands‑on construction delivery model, offering a highly structured yet agile working environment.
The company places strong emphasis on technical excellence, quality assurance, and buildability, supported by robust internal systems and a culture that encourages collaboration across design, commercial, and construction teams. Continuous improvement, innovation, and professional development are embedded into the way projects are delivered and people are supported.
Your New Role
As a CSA Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of civil, structural, and architectural packages on major data centre construction projects. Working closely with construction managers, design teams, subcontractors, and client representatives, you will be responsible for ensuring that CSA works are executed safely, to specification, on programme, and within budget.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Technical Coordination: Review and manage CSA design information, drawings, specifications, and schedules to ensure clarity, buildability, and compliance with project requirements.
- Site Engineering & Oversight: Support on-site delivery of groundworks, structures, building envelope, internal finishes, and architectural interfaces, ensuring works align with approved methodologies and sequencing.
- Subcontractor Management: Coordinate CSA subcontractors, oversee daily activities, review method statements and risk assessments, and ensure quality standards are consistently achieved.
- Quality Control & Inspections: Implement inspection and test plans (ITPs), manage snagging processes, and support handover documentation and as‑built records.
- Programme Support: Liaise with planning teams to track progress against key milestones, contribute to short‑term look‑ahead planning, and help resolve sequencing or access issues.
- Interdisciplinary Coordination: Work closely with MEP teams to manage interfaces and avoid clashes, particularly in high‑density technical environments typical of data centre projects.
- Health & Safety Leadership: Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring CSA activities are carried out in line with site safety systems and best‑in‑class standards.
This is a hands‑on engineering role offering exposure to some of the most complex and fast‑moving construction projects in the industry.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
To excel in this role, you will bring a strong technical background and on-site delivery experience, including:
- A degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline.
- 3+ years’ experience in a CSA engineering role, ideally within large‑scale commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical construction.
- Proven experience delivering civil works, concrete structures, steel, façades, and architectural finishes on complex projects.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and Irish/UK/international building standards.
- Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing quality assurance processes.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- A proactive, detail‑driven mindset with a focus on programme, quality, and safety.
Previous experience on data centres, pharmaceutical, or high‑tech industrial projects will be a strong advantage, but is not essential.
What You’ll Get in Return
In return for your expertise and commitment, you can expect:
- A highly competitive salary aligned with experience.
- An attractive benefits package, including pension, healthcare, travel support, and allowances (where applicable).
- The opportunity to work on flagship international data centre projects that will significantly enhance your technical portfolio.
- Clear career progression pathways within a growing global business.
- Ongoing training and professional development, supported by experienced senior engineers and managers.
- A collaborative, high‑performance environment that values initiative, accountability, and engineering excellence.
