A well-established infrastructure contractor with a strong reputation in the utilities and energy sectors is seeking a Civil Foreman to join their growing team in Cork. This company delivers essential civil and electrical works across Ireland, with a focus on safety, sustainability, and innovation.
Your new role
As Civil Foreman, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating on-site civil works, ensuring that all activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage crews, liaise with subcontractors and engineers, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with project specifications and health & safety regulations. This role is key to the successful delivery of utility infrastructure projects in the region.
What you'll need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Civil Foreman on utility, telecoms, or infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards
- Full driving licence and relevant site certifications (e.g., Safe Pass, Manual Handling, CSCS)
- A proactive and hands-on approach to site management
