The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers and project teams on live construction projects. You will be involved in the day-to-day coordination of site activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior engineers and project managers in the delivery of civil engineering projects
- Support site operations, including setting out, surveying, and quality control
- Monitor project progress and maintain accurate site records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company procedures
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and project documentation
- Contribute to problem-solving and continuous improvement on site
Requirements
- Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong interest in pursuing a career in civil engineering or utilities
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (knowledge of AutoCAD or similar is an advantage)
- Full driving licence (desirable due to site travel)
