Join a leading national health provider as a dynamic Financial Accountant.

Your new company

Join a high‑performing, nationally recognised organisation at the forefront of the health industry, renowned for its innovation, patient‑centric ethos and continuous growth. This is a modern, technology‑driven business that is reshaping how healthcare services are delivered across Ireland. With multiple sites nationwide and a strong reputation for clinical excellence, the organisation is now investing heavily in the future — modernising systems, embedding AI, and transforming operational efficiency. You’ll be part of a team that values initiative, curiosity and continuous improvement.

Your new role

This is a hands‑on, commercially focused finance role ideal for a proactive, qualified accountant who thrives on ownership, variety and problem‑solving. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in shaping a modern finance function while supporting day‑to‑day financial operations mainly for the Cork site.

  • Own management accounts for the Cork site with some cross over for other Business Units.
  • Deliver insightful commercial analysis, not just reporting.
  • Lead the month‑end close process.
  • Support decision‑making, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Drive improvements in systems, controls and finance workflows.
  • Play an integral role in introducing and embedding AI and automation.
  • Partner closely with operational teams to understand revenue drivers and cost structures.
  • Oversee bank/supplier reconciliations, AP, expenses and payments.
  • Liaise with external auditors at year‑end
  • Act as a key point of contact for IT and process improvements.
This is a rare opportunity to gain broad end‑to‑end exposure, work closely with senior leadership and influence the future direction of a progressive, technology‑enabled finance function.

  • A proactive, curious mindset and comfort working with ambiguity.
  • Strong IT literacy and interest in digital tools, automation and AI.

What you'll get in return

  • Salary unto €65,000
  • A high‑impact role with genuine autonomy and influence.
  • Direct access and mentorship from an experienced CFO.
  • The opportunity to shape a modern, efficient finance function.
  • Broad exposure across reporting, operations, systems, analysis and commercial insight
  • A dynamic and supportive work environment committed to innovation.
  • Excellent professional development potential.
  • The chance to contribute to a meaningful mission in healthcare.
