Part-time role for an experienced Finance Manager, ideally with some charity/not-for-profit experience
Do you want to work in the Charity/ Not-for-Profit sector ?
Leading not-for-profit organisation with a national remit require a Qualified Senior Accountant to join their small Head office team. This is a part-time role, working 24 hours per week (flexible on days worked)
The Finance Manager will report to the Deputy CEO and supervise / mentor a small accounts team. You will be fully responsible for the finance function, to include the preparation of year-end statutory accounts, compliance, corporate governance, and reporting under SORP. You will also attend regular board meetings.
Key Tasks will include:
You must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with 5 years + pqe, possess good hands-on accounting experience gained in the charity/not-for-profit, or SME sectors. You will also have strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.

- Preparation of the accounts for the annual audit
- Process improvement, internal controls
- Liaison with Managers nationwide
- Management of the property portfolio
- Fixed Asset maintenance
- Reviewing costs and implementing initiatives
- Stakeholder manager (internal/external)
- Budgeting and forecasting.
- Assist in costing of capital projects.
- Liaison with any fundraisers.
You must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA) with 5 years + pqe, possess good hands-on accounting experience gained in the charity/not-for-profit, or SME sectors. You will also have strong interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.
Annual Salary €85K-€95K (pro rata), depending on experience
