Your new role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Business Analyst to join our team on a 6-month contract in Dublin. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in business process improvement and digital transformation, who can effectively bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams. Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Document detailed requirements and translate them into functional specifications for IT and development teams.
Process Improvement
- Analyse current business processes and workflows.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with departments such as operations, finance, risk, and IT.
- Ensure alignment of solutions with business goals and regulatory standards.
Project Support & Management
- Support project planning, scope definition, and roadmap development.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather feedback and build consensus.
Testing & Quality Assurance
- Develop and execute test plans to validate solution effectiveness.
- Coordinate with QA teams and end-users during testing phases.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain comprehensive documentation on processes, systems, and project changes.
- Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and leadership.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Analytical Thinking: Strong ability to interpret complex data and support strategic decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with business analysis tools, data modelling, and Agile methodologies. Understanding financial systems and regulatory environments is advantageous.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to identify root causes and develop innovative, business-aligned solutions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation, analysis, and testing.
- Adaptability: Comfortable switching between tasks and priorities based on evolving project needs.
Preferred Experience
- Proven experience in digital transformation projects.
- Exposure to AI technologies is a nice-to-have.
- Experience working in dynamic, cross-functional teams
