This Senior Credit Risk Specialist role is pivotal in managing credit risk across a diverse international customer portfolio. Your new role
- Lead detailed credit risk assessments for new and existing customers.
- Monitor creditworthiness, set and review credit limits and payment terms.
- Analyse financial statements and forecasts to support credit decisions.
- Partner with Commercial, Treasury, and Controllership teams to strengthen customer relationships.
- Oversee the Credit Block Release process across multiple markets.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Credit & Collections function.
What you'll need to succeed
- A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), or someone with 5+ years’ experience in credit risk management.
- Strong analytical and commercial acumen with the ability to make evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience in multinational environments; exposure to biotech or pharma is a plus.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and financial reporting tools.
